TheoK Web Development designs, builds, hosts, and maintains a website for your business. While we work together, this covers hosting, security, keeping your site online and working, and a weekly website report. Changes to content or design after launch are quoted per request. There is no long-term contract; you may cancel at any time. The website, its design and its files remain the property of TheoK Web Development.
Nothing to start. Signing up saves a card on file. Nothing is charged. I build the site with you and put it live.
You pay only for months where the site paid for itself. The site paid for itself in a month if it brought you at least one new customer who booked work. In plain terms: if the site brought you a new customer who booked a job, you pay $250 for that month; if it didn't, that month is free.
How we know. I buy a phone number in your local area code that goes on the website and nowhere else, and it forwards straight to your phone. Every call to that number and every form on the site came from the website, so we both see what it brought in. Every Friday I send you the numbers.
New customers means people who found you through the website, not customers you already had. A job counts when it's booked, not when it's paid. If a booked job falls through later, it still counts: the site did its part.
The question. At the end of each month I text you (or email you, if you'd rather) one question: did the site bring you at least one new customer who booked work this month? Reply yes and the card on file is charged $250 that day. Reply no, or don't reply within 7 days, and that month is free.
No subscription. Nothing renews on its own. Either of us can end this at the end of any month. If two months in a row are a no, I'll reach out and we'll decide together whether to keep the site up.
The site stays mine to run. It's licensed to you for as long as we work together; it isn't sold, and there are no files to hand over. Payments already made aren't refunded.
If you opt in at checkout, we send one text message per week to the mobile number you provided, containing your website report. Message frequency is once per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop all messages, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not affect your website service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You confirm you own or have the right to use any content, images, and trademarks you supply, and that the mobile number you provide is yours and that you are authorised to receive texts at it.
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.
